Is Monteverde Extremo Park safe?
The park employs rigorous safety standards. Participants wear specialized safety harnesses that must fit manufacturer recommendations. Visitors with severe back problems, cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis, or who are pregnant are not allowed to participate.
What is the weight limit for Monteverde Extremo zipline?
The maximum weight limit for the entire canopy tour is 115 kg (253 lbs). You must also weigh at least 45 kg (99 lbs) to participate in the Superman activities. All harnesses must fit properly.
How long is the Monteverde Extremo zipline tour?
Guided canopy tours last approximately 3 hours. This time includes safety briefings, the regular cables, the rappel, the Superman lines, and the Tarzan swing.
Can kids go ziplining at Monteverde Extremo?
Yes. The minimum age requirement for the canopy tour is 6 years old. Minors between the ages of 6 and 17 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Children must also meet the 45 kg (99 lbs) minimum weight for the Superman cables.
