Canopy Tour Course

Ride 11 zipline cables and rappel down 30 meters to the forest floor. The core canopy circuit spans a total of 4 kilometers (2.5 miles).

The main attraction at Monteverde Extremo Park is the 4-kilometer canopy circuit. It routes you across the rainforest via 11 cables of varying lengths.

This course takes you platform-to-platform across the Costa Rican rainforest. Guided tours last about 3 hours in total.

Regular Ziplines

1.5 hours

The core circuit features 11 zipline cables ranging up to 750 meters (2,460 ft) long. You fly from platform to platform above the rainforest canopy.

Rappel Descent

10 minutes

A 30-meter (98 ft) vertical rope descent connects the higher canopy platforms to the forest floor. This section transitions you back to the ground.
